A romance of leisurely getting to know each other. It is a stage of asking and learning about the other person one thing at a time, so the pace is slow but the attitude is serious. It may be someone young or inexperienced, or someone not good at romance. If you are single, a connection comes where you went to learn something.

Reading It Upright and Reversed
Page of Pentacles · Minor Arcana · Pentacles · Page
The Page of Pentacles is the card of a young person in a wide field holding up one gold coin in both hands and studying it intently; upright, it means a start where a field you want to learn newly appears and you take a small first step, or a flow where such a person appears beside you.
On a green field, a young person stands holding one gold coin up with both hands. His gaze rests only on that one coin, so he has no interest in his surroundings. Behind him, newly tilled furrows and young saplings are visible, and further off lies a low mountainside not yet set foot on.
What he holds is not nine or ten but only one. But since a field has been tilled behind him, it is a situation where one need only sow seeds. The reason this card is seen as learning is that the youth does not spend the coin but gazes at it carefully. Not yet knowing how to use it, he is observing, and that time of observing is itself learning.
As a person card, what kind of person is the Page of Pentacles?
Look at how much experience has built up rather than age. Someone who has just entered learning, someone who turned direction late and is learning from scratch, someone who speaks little but holds on to an assigned task to the end: these fit this card. Not eloquent, but steady at work done with the hands. If you are working with or seeing such a person, you see the best fruit when you do not push them to hurry.
Page of Pentacles: Love
There is attraction, but its expression is all over the place. Messages come often but the suggestion to meet never comes, or feelings are hung in dribs and drabs on several people. The other person may not yet have decided how much time to spend on this relationship, so instead of pressing for an answer, check by setting one date to meet.
Page of Pentacles: Money
Starting with small money suits well. There is something to learn from challenges reduced in size, like small savings, a first step in studying investment or a taste of a side job. It is a time to learn the knack of handling money rather than how much you earn, so it is also good for trying a household ledger for the first time.
Moving money trusting only others’ words without proper research brings losses. Spending you said was fine because it was small may be leaking here and there. If tuition you paid to learn sits untouched, finishing what you already bought before signing up for something new is the profitable move.
Page of Pentacles: Work
A position of learning from the start, as a trainee, new hire, or someone moving into a new field. Even if much of the work looks like errands, a feel for the job grows within it. It is also a time when small contacts like inquiries and quotes go back and forth, so do not miss even contacts that seem like nothing.
You have several tasks so none gets finished. Time goes by digging through materials with no results, or a junior repeats the same mistake so your hands keep being needed. Pick just one thing to finish today and drive it to the deadline, and the rest that piled up loosens along with it.

Page of Pentacles Upright
A time to put into practice for the first time something you only pictured in imagination. You sign up for a class, look up certification information, or try selling something with a little capital. Even if the scale is small and your hands clumsy, the key is that you actually moved. This card does not weigh results. It only looks at whether you took the first step.
As a person, it is someone diligent but still short on experience. A new hire just joined, someone who jumped into study late, the type who learns slowly but never lets go of an assigned task. If such a person has appeared beside you, waiting for them to firmly master one thing rather than pressing for results is good for both sides.
Page of Pentacles Reversed
If reversed, interest spreads in every direction so nothing sticks. You repeatedly pay for a new course and stop after the first lecture, or keep pushing what you meant to learn to next month. Motivation has not died out, which makes it more stifling, and that stifled feeling spreads into yet another payment.
Cases where the plan looks great but there are no tangible results fall here too. Startup ideas, study timetables and savings goals are flawless on paper, but there has not been a day you tried the first item. As a person, it is someone whose words run ahead of action, or someone it is still too early to hand responsibility to. Cut the plan in half and leave just one box to do today.
Something to Try the Day This Card Appears
Today, pick one of the things you only resolved in your heart to learn, and do it yourself for just fifteen minutes. One page of a book, one lecture video, one line of practice is enough. Do not polish the plan further; just leave a trace that you started today. What this card looks at is not the scale but the date of the first day.
