The Dragon in 2028
The Flow of the Mu-sin Year
In the 2028 Mu-sin year, the Dragon meets a year when Jin (辰) and Sin (申) meet and complete the Sin-Ja-Jin water frame. Earth gives out energy raising metal, but the flow gains precious people in return, so whom you join hands with decides success.
Jin (辰), standing for the Dragon, is moist earth holding water. It is in the position of adding energy to this year’s Sin (申) metal, so in 2028 the Dragon pours out more energy directly. Yet it does not end as mere depletion because the Sin-Ja-Jin (申子辰) Three Harmony is hooked in as well.
Three Harmony is a structure where three branches join forces to form one great energy. This year the Dragon tires quickly when trying to finish everything alone, and the board grows by leaps when it joins hands with people. So the most valuable asset is the colleagues who ran with you, more than the results.
Is it all right for the Dragon to start a partnership or joint project in 2028?
It is a year when the Sin-Ja-Jin water frame is completed, so joining forces with people gains momentum. Ties with Monkeys and Rats come especially often. But the better the flow, the more carefully you should leave conditions in writing. The clearer you make things at the start, the cleaner the finish.

A load shared by three
This year the energy of redrawing structures and rearranging people and positions is strong. Amid such change, the Dragon is likely to take the role of the central axis. Results grow bigger when you divide detailed tasks among trustworthy people rather than clutching them all.
When the water frame is completed, the flow itself accelerates. Agenda items long on hold suddenly start progressing in 2028, so it is enough to bring your preparation forward so you can jump right in when opportunity comes.
A stage that widens as much as you pour in
It is a year when the scale of work grows. As your area of responsibility widens and your name gains value, the effort put in swells along with it. The Dragon should sort in advance, among the increased work, what it must do itself and what it can hand to others.
Money comes in following people. It is a year of large income through introductions and collaboration, so it is good to leave conditions in writing from the start. Remember that the smoother the start, the more easily friction arises later when dividing shares.
Threads linking you with Monkeys and Rats
The Sin-Ja-Jin Three Harmony is a combination where the Monkey, Rat and Dragon fill in each other’s gaps. So in 2028, ties touching these two signs come to the Dragon unusually often. Whether business partners or lovers, relationships formed this year are likely to last long.
Still, you cannot embrace everyone. The wider your network, the more important it is to adjust your distance with each. Keeping just three or four key people close and maintaining an unburdened distance with the rest is comfortable for the Dragon.
Time to refill after giving
In a year of giving energy, recovery is slow. The more a day was spent mingling and pouring out talk with many people, the more you long for time to rest alone. Only by deliberately leaving blanks between packed schedules can the Dragon finish through year’s end without tiring.
Making promises easily is also something to watch. Work taken on gladly at a pleasant gathering often becomes a heavy load later. This year, replying after a day’s thought instead of answering on the spot keeps the Dragon’s year light.

The stems, branches and the harmony, clash, punishment, harm and break marks above are calculated from the perpetual calendar. A sign reading looks only at the one branch of your birth year, so the result can differ from a Saju reading, which also looks at the month, day and hour.
