Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of Quantarium (the "Company") and users regarding the use of QUANTARO (quantaro.kr, the "Service") operated by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Service: all tarot, Saju and fortune content provided by the Company
- User: anyone who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service
- Member: a user who has signed up through Google social login
- Paid content: content that can be used only after paying the price set by the Company per item
- Membership service: a character chat service for talking with quantaro characters (readers)
- Subscription: a product for using the Membership service by paying the monthly fee set by the Company, valid for one month from the payment date. It is not renewed or charged again automatically when the period ends. Subscriptions apply only to the Membership service; other services have no subscription.
- Subscriber: a member who has paid for a Membership subscription and is within its period
Article 3 (Service Content)
The Company provides the following services.
- Today’s fortune, New Year fortune, love fortune — free for non-members
- Tarot consultation, Saju (Four Pillars), business fortune — content set as paid by the Company is used after per-item payment (not part of any subscription)
- Membership (character chat) — offered as a subscription for this service only; used during the period by subscribers who paid the monthly fee (VAT included) shown on the product screen
- Fortune interpretation content through quantaro characters (the lead counselor and 7 readers)
Article 4 (Use of the Service)
(1) Free services can be used without signing up.
(2) Paid content can be used after logging in and completing payment for that item. Payment is made separately for each item, and the Company never charges again without the user’s consent.
(3) Subscriptions apply only to the Membership (character chat) service. A subscription can be used for one month from the day the monthly fee is paid after logging in. It is not renewed or charged again automatically when the period ends; to continue, the user must pay again each time.
(4) The Service is provided for entertainment purposes and must not be used as the basis for real decisions.
(5) To maintain service quality, the Company may limit use to 10 requests per minute.
Article 4-2 (Membership Subscription Period and Extension)
This article applies only to subscriptions for the Membership (character chat) service; other paid content follows per-item payment under Article 4(2).
(1) Subscriptions are not renewed automatically, so there is no cancellation procedure; use ends when the period ends.
(2) Paying again during the period adds one month to the remaining period.
(3) If the Company changes the monthly fee or content of a subscription, it gives notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect; periods paid before the change keep the previous terms.
(4) Subscription refunds follow the Refund Policy.
Article 4-3 (Seo Jian’s Soul Counseling)
This article applies only to "Seo Jian’s Soul Counseling," a product separate from the Membership service and subscriptions in Article 2.
(1) In "Seo Jian’s Soul Counseling," the Company offers chatting with a character as a one-month chat product. It can be used for one month from the day of payment and is not renewed or charged again automatically when the period ends. To continue, the user must pay again each time.
(2) If you pay again before the period ends, the remaining period is kept and one month is added from its expiry date.
(3) Conversations are stored to keep context and memory. Users can delete the conversation text and memory on My Page at any time, and deleted content cannot be restored. Payment history, usage counts and consent records remain.
(4) There are daily and monthly limits on the number of messages, and the remaining count is shown on the chat screen.
(5) Replies in this service are fictional conversation and do not replace professional counseling, medical, legal or investment advice.
(6) Handling and overseas transfer of conversation content are described in the Privacy Policy.
Article 4-4 (Na Yeonggyun’s One-Month Dream Chat)
Article 4-3 applies as is to "Na Yeonggyun’s One-Month Dream Chat," reading "Seo Jian’s Soul Counseling" as "Na Yeonggyun’s One-Month Dream Chat." Dream readings are reflective reference texts and do not determine the future.
Article 5 (Prohibited Acts)
- Abnormal use with automation tools, crawlers and the like
- Unauthorized copying, distribution or commercial use of content in the Service
- Using the Service with another person’s personal information
- Placing excessive load on the servers
- Any other act that violates relevant laws
Article 5-2 (User Obligations When Uploading Photos)
(1) Users of face reading may upload only photos of themselves or photos for which they have permission from the person shown.
(2) If a user breaks this rule and uploads another person’s photo, the user who uploaded it is responsible for any resulting dispute or damage.
(3) The Company uses uploaded photos only to extract facial features and deletes them right after. Details on handling and destroying photos are in the Privacy Policy.
Article 6 (Changes to or Suspension of the Service)
(1) The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons.
(2) If the Service is suspended, users who paid but have not yet received a reading and users subscribed to the Membership service are handled under the Refund Policy.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
(1) Fortune content in the Service is a creative work for entertainment, and its accuracy and reliability are not guaranteed.
(2) The Company bears no responsibility for the results of decisions users make based on the Service.
(3) The Company is not responsible for suspension of the Service due to force majeure such as natural disasters or server failures.
Article 8 (Dispute Resolution)
Disputes about use of the Service are, in principle, resolved through good-faith consultation between the Company and the user. If no agreement is reached, the court with jurisdiction over the Company’s location has jurisdiction.
